Thames & Kosmos Metal Detector

Let the treasure hunting begin! Use the Thames & Kosmos Metal Detector to find metal objects like gold, silver, iron, copper, and more that are buried up to six inches deep in sand, dirt, or grass.

The integrated digital display provides visual feedback as curious kids get close to a metal object and emits a clear “beep” when items are found. Quickly and easily adjust the angle of the metal detector to explore between rocks, under bushes, and other hard-to-reach places. With two handles of different lengths (15.7" and 10.6") and a lightweight design, this is the perfect tool for open-ended science and nature explorations for kids (and adults!) of all ages as they grow.

Try setting up your own treasure hunts in the backyard or at the beach! Requires 1 9V battery, not included.

From Thames & Kosmos, for ages 8+ yrs.
